What a wonderful experience I enjoyed at the conference today! If you are coming on Friday and Saturday-get excited! So many opportunities to learn new techniques or approaches, thousands of ECE educators in the field to network with and learn from, and where else can you purchase so many products for your daily use in one place? Please take the advice given by Valora Washington (one of the Thursday keynote speakers and a presenter)and make sure you do not “just come” and not take advantage of all the resources in the room. The person sitting right next to you may have already solved your problem several years back and can give you tips on how you can implement it in your setting. I saw several people exchange contact information in order to work on involving fathers or male role models in their centers/schools. I cannot wait to see you there! Make sure you say hello!
